Kirsāke x IÚNO: A Shoot That Felt Like Hanging Out

Kirsake x IÚNO band photoshoot

If you’ve been seeing the boys all over our feed lately, this is why.

We recently collaborated with IÚNO, a young OPM band that has been steadily building a following among university students and new listeners around the Philippines.

Formed in 2025, the band is made up of five members: Carlos, Pio, Gab, Rome and Jid. Each of them brings their own personality and creative energy into the group. They are currently working under WYL Music with co-management from Cornerstone Entertainment.

What stood out to us immediately was not just the music. It was the friendship between them.

You can feel that the band is built on real connection. The way they talk, joke around, and support each other feels natural. Like a real barkada that just happens to make music together.

That was exactly the energy we felt during the shoot.

It honestly felt less like a production and more like friends hanging out and creating something together.

Why We Chose IÚNO Band

When we collaborate with people, we do not start with numbers or hype.

We start with alignment.

IÚNO represents a new generation of Filipino creatives who are finding their voice while staying grounded. Their music carries a familiar OPM spirit. Playful, heartfelt, and story-driven. At the same time, it still feels fresh for a younger audience.

You can hear inspiration from classic Filipino bands in the way they approach storytelling and humor in music, but they are also shaping their own sound that resonates with today’s listeners.

As an independent brand, we relate to that journey.

We are both building something from the ground up.
We are both learning as we go.
And we are both creating things that connect with everyday life.

So this collaboration felt like a natural meeting point between the local lifestyle fashion brand and the growing OPM scene.

The Shoot Day

The shoot day felt exactly how you would imagine spending time with a group of close friends.

There were outfit checks, random deep conversations, teasing, music playing in the background, and a lot of laughter.

Nothing felt stiff or overly planned.

We did not want the shoot to feel too styled or too serious. The goal was simple. Let the boys wear the pieces in a way that felt natural to them.

Huge thanks as well to WYL Music for helping bring everything together smoothly. Having a team that understands both artists and creative work made the entire process easy.

It was organized but still very relaxed.

The People Who Made It Special

First, we want to give a shoutout to Kirs, the founder of Kirsāke, for keeping the vision alive and seeing this collab through, and to Paulo, the co-founder, whose support and creativity helped make the shoot run smoothly.

But honestly, this collab wouldn’t have happened without Saskia, IÚNO’s manager, who pitched the idea and brought everyone together. Working with her again after all these years felt like a full-circle moment.

Migz, their producer, made coordinating everything fun and easy from start to finish.

Toni, their road manager, kept things organized behind the scenes and made sure the boys were ready for every shot.

And of course, the band.

Carlos

Carlos, the band’s frontman, came in running on almost no sleep but still had the energy to talk with us about creativity, branding, and where we are all headed. We always appreciate people who are curious about the process of building something.

Pio

Pio shared another side of his creativity with us. Aside from playing guitar, he creates illustrations and even brought some of his sticker works to the shoot. He told us to pick one to take home.

Gab

Gab, the band’s drummer, kept the energy light the entire day. His banter with Jid made everything feel less like work and more like a hangout.

Rome

Rome gave us one of the most unexpected moments of the day. In the middle of conversation, he casually shared that he had bought one of our Mono Tote Bag after seeing a Kirsāke ad before this collaboration even happened. A real customer turned collaborator. That honestly made us smile.

Jid

Jid feels like family at this point. We actually worked with him before he even became part of a band. Seeing him now grow into this new chapter of his creative life is really special for us.

What started as a simple shoot slowly turned into something more.

Somewhere between conversations, fittings, and random ideas thrown around, we started shaping something that blends both worlds. Kirsāke and IÚNO.

We will not reveal everything just yet.

But yes. There is a Kirsāke x IÚNO coming soon.

If you have been paying attention to the details in the photos, you might have already spotted a few hints.

This collaboration does not stop here.

Stay close.
